The Rapture is in Lodi.

Was in a Vino Volo at the Sacto Airport and they were pouring the Michael David Winery's "Rapture" cab blend and it was strikingly fabulous!

Took a bottle home for a tasting and nobody guessed Lodi.

Lots of fun wine from down around there.

Many zin makers feel they are getting screwed due to lack of "birth certificates" for many wineries - - old field blend vineyards make it tough for grapes that have been handled like a zin, grown like a zin, and often thought of as a zin - to be called a zin!

According to the wine powers in Cali, President Obama can only be called a meritage blend.
