From the DRC post below - what was the most transformational wine you've had?

...my wife and I were married in 1982 and moved into a house we built. The house was on a downslope with the garage/driveway at roof level, so you went down stairs to the front door. There was a storage space under the driveway I used for a few bottles of wine.
That year we had:
A 1979 Grgich Hills chardonnay - the nectar of the gods.
And a 1979 Lytton Springs Zinfandel (Dry Creek in Sonoma, before Ridge bought them) was the best red I'd ever tasted. This started my passion for zinfandels.
I've had wines costing probably $200 a bottle, but nothing as good as my memory of those two.
In 1986 when our first daughter was born, some friends gave us a bottle of Chateu Lafite Rothschild. 15 or so years later (after 2 moves) when we opened it, it had gone bad.
