Considering the similarities between audiophiles and oenophiles you'd think there would be more interest.

I found the Seghesio Zinfandel at a Pavillions store in Santa Monica at about $18.00. The local Vons and Ralphs don't seem to carry it. Some of the on-line retailers seem to be out of it, but you're right, they did make a lot of it. I'll see if it stands up to the hype/rating.

The Pape Star is nice with probably enough fruit to carry it off. Not sure about the vintage but it might have been the 2006 I had. There's a listing/description of the 2006 on the K&L Wines web site at the link below.
