A friend recommended it and said they blind tasted it against Rombauer and couldn't pick the Rombauer correctly.
It is buttery, although without a lot of the different fruit flavors I look for, but it has no off-flavors, which make it work.
2017 Carmenet chardonnay. At $6.99 it's hard to beat if you like the style.
