I had my first *truly sublime wine experience this weekend. My wife and I shared a bottle '96 Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon.I'm not a particularly experienced wine drinker, and this was the most expensive wine I've ever had, but I am hooked. I can only describe this Wine Experience as deleriously glorious. Its bouquet was mesmerizing, and the magic it worked with the steak I had just taken off the flames was unbelievable. Life was truly good when my glass had Silver Oak in it.
I must repeat that experience and recapture that feeling. Often!
