Been tasting a bunch of wines lately and have had some particaularly outstanding finds:

'69 Leroy Mersault Chamres (best thing I've tasted in a while, enjoyed 2 bottles will sit on the others a while longer) Sweet, balanced, 2 minute finish with plenty of fruit and crisp as can be. Just so much more enjoyable than the '94 we had to compare it with.

other great finds lately:
'94 & '95 Muga Rioja reserve
'82 Ducru
'79 Pichon Longueville
'98 Isabele Sauv. Blanc
'84 Mouton (bad rep, but great value IMO)
NV Laurent Perier Brut Rose
'79 La Mission Haut Brion
'83 Leroy Fixin'
'81 Leroy Pommard Les Vignots
'98 Puligny Montrachet Domaine Leflaive
'94 Spotteswoode (the best of the Sptteswoodes for my tastes: '86, '92, '96, '97 were tasted)

In the why didn't I drink these already category:
'75 and '76 mouton- not much fruit left in either vintage, mostly cedar now)
'66 and '70 haut brion

Anyone care to share their recent tastings, any GREAT reccomendations?
