...our wine group of 6 did a blind tasting of 6 zins rated 1-6 favorite to least favorite - here are the results:

6. 30pts - 2011 Turley Howell Mtn. Rattlesnake Ridge $40 (lacked fruit)
5. 21pts - 2012 Seghesio Sonoma $25
4. 20pts - 2012 Wente Livermore Small Lot $20
3. 19pts - 2012 Shadow Ranch El Dorado $14
2. 18pts - 2012 Brown Estate Napa $38
1. 17pts - 2011 Caymus Napa $40

Note the one point difference between the top 5 wines.
