Volswagen Vanagan Heads

Posted by tesla on May 16, 2005 at 08:45:21:

Ok, I've owned a 1984 Vanagan now for over 10 years, and it has been a reliable vehicle. however, because of a coolant-leak, I now need to do something about some warped heads. I have looked locally, and what I have seen so far is depressing. It seems that I can get a pair of used/rebuilt heads for the pittance of only $300 per! For that price, (If I want to keep owning a Vanagan) It might be better to just look for another Vanagan! Any Suggestions are welcome!
