Farley Mowat was a highly-respected writer in the '50s. I read portions of it as a lad when it appeared in Reader's Digest. (I know, I know. Hey, I was ten. What did I know?) It was very enjoyable. If you've liked his other stuff, you'll probably like "Dog". It might even have been a bestseller, for what that's worth.
