Any Jose Saramago Fans Out There?

Posted by NapTime on June 17, 2004 at 20:24:26:

I first read "Blindness", which was thought provoking, although it seemed like more like "Plague" clone crossed with an exercise in Epistemology than a piece of original literature. Then I picked up "Baltasar and Blimunda". This was one of the most beautiful works of art I have ever read. Tragedy, mysticism, social commentary about Catholicism at the time in Portugal (and I imaging most other places), storytelling...it's all there.

So, did this man write any other worthwhile books?

Thanks,

-NapTime
