Re: I'm Looking for Digital Camera Recommendations!

Posted by Vinylly on April 5, 2001 at 10:46:25:

My recommendation, start checking the magazine racks. There are lots of magazines on digital camera reviews. Here are some good ones to begin with: "What Digital Camera" (same company that publishes "What Hi-Fi"), "e DigitalPhoto.com" (they also have a website: www.edigitalphoto.com) and "Digital Camera User". There are a lot more, but I like "What Digital Camera" because of the reviews.
I should also recommend that you shop around very carefully as there are tremendous price differences. There are some great deals on online outlets compared to retail stores. I bought my Fujifilm FinePix 4900 Zoom from Digital Distribiutors, Inc. for a savings of $200.00. After reading the magazine reviews first, and deciding which would be best for me.
Good Luck.
