I think your right, on paper I never visualized that this needs to hook to a boat or something and the stress on that pipe is going to be huge. I am going to run to the hardware store to get another pipe and see if I can find some plate steel I do not think I can salvage that piece even with the metal grinder, will post pics if I get anything done
