"Warner Redwing" - any info. appreciated

My uncle used to live in Saraland, AL (just north of Mobile), and across the street lived Mr. Warner, who made some very fine small wooden boats (10 - 16 ft.), usually to order. I just inherited one (built for my uncle in 1955), but anyone who knew anything else about Mr Warner or any other boats has moved away from Saraland or died.
Does anyone here know anything? - the boat is 12 ft., sweet lines, cypress I think, but the motor mount/transom area needs repair, and the steering cables are a mess (where they still remian installed ...).
Any one know anything about these, at all?
thanks,
Todd
