Should I buy a Bayliner?

I don't know much about boats having never owned one before. I am thinking of purchasing a 1989 24ft. Bayliner from an old couple who have kept it immaculate. It looks brand new. They are asking 18,000cdn. Does anyone know anything about Bayliners? Are they good boats? Does anyone own one? Any information anyone could pass along to me would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
