I decided to get this motor without doing much research and I hope it doesn’t end up hurting me. The past five years I was using a McCulloch 7.5 around 1968 model and I thought it was about time for an upgrade, I’m not sure if I might have made the wrong decision in buying this gamefisher or not.
Anyway, my question is just about like everyone else’s. Does anyone know where I could locate an owners or service manual for this motor? I also need a gas line fitting.. the piece that connects to the engine from the gas tank. I’m not sure if there’s a universal part or a mercury part or what.
I know a little about 2 stroke motors, but not much. If there’s anyone that could give me any advice about this gamefisher I’d greatly appreciate it! Also I’ve just started looking at this board and as far as I can see Sears no longer has anything about gamefisher or outboard motors on their website, am I right or am I just not seeing it?
Again any help would be greatly appreciated!
