Go for Canons

Chiggy,

Though American snobby dudes a still drooling over the fact that their Nikon should have a longer lens then their neighbor’s Nikon but in the AF era Nikon dose not look good. Sine the golden times of the Nikon’s “second lenses advantage” and their magnificent FM bodies they did a large among of wrong steps (“F” line and so on) and pretty much have lost this positions.

In the time of global economy when Hasselblad’s assembled and Leitz Wetzlar boil their glass somewhere in Far East, when Fuji process and materials overperform Kodak and when even the professionals have no opportunities to print images at a sufficient level of quality… the conversation about the quality of cameras/lenses have a little different prospective then it usually had.

Stick with Canon’s system. Their Ultrasonic AF constriction is inarguably more superior (faster) then any mechanical drives. Their lenses are cheap. A huge amount of third companies do their lenses Canon-compatible. If you willing to get “the really good one” when you always could jump to the Canons aspherical lenses and they will be all-around much more interesting then the Nikon’s polygraphic lenses. The Canon cameras are more intelligently done. Canon has more powerful digital division...

I personally do not have 35mm but should I buy I would go for Canons…

Rgs,
Romy the caT
