I have a 1950 Zeiss Ikon and they are fine old cameras. The ones I've seen all use 120 roll film (2 1/4 square medium format). You'll have to go to a real camera shop to buy film and maybe use a pro lab. 120 film is mainly used by pros because the large negative allows huge enlargements.

They take some getting used to (ALL MANUAL!) so you should do some studying first. You might try this link:
