Re: photo.net?

Well, hey, I'm not partial to either. I love the AA community, and I actually rarely participate at Photo.net.

It's not "consumer-advice"... there are actually A LOT of pros there, but they do help out the beginner. What I really like out of the photo.net site is that there is more composition and "where to get the best light, best location, etc." talk than equipment stuff, and they have a weekly ranking of the best pictures, etc.

Although there are a lot of traditionalists there, I'm sure they do have a lot on digital cameras. The lead author, Phil Greenspun, uses the Canon D-30 digital SLR nowadays. They also have a ton of information there on professional digitization of pictures, digital printing, etc.
