Question re: adapting 35mm lenses to a 4/3 camera (Panasonic Lumix L1)

The 4/3 sensor is 1/2 the size of a 35mm film area, therefore a 100mm lens for a 35 mm camera would be the equivalent of a 200 mm lens on a 4/3 camera. The question; if the 100 mm lens is f2.4 on the 35 mm camera, would it be f 5.8 on the 4/3 camera?

Aperture doesn't change- my Nikon 80mm - 200mm f/2.8 is still a 2.8 but lens is an 120mm- 300 zoom on D70s - Joe M 17:44:33 05/07/07 (0)
