A photographer's haven for the lastest in digital or traditional film cameras.

I wanted a small compact camera as my Olympus 8080 wide angle was too bulky to put in my pocket. I wanted something I could tuck away in my pocket and use indoors without using flash. I picked the Fuji F10. It has a large 2 1/2" LCD screen, but no viewfinder. It is about the same size as Joe's recommended Casio EX-2750 eccept it is thicker. What I like about the F10 is that it can take very good pictures with ISO's of 800 and 1600, -which is a first for inexpensive compact cameras, only professional cameras have this high of ISO sensitivity. This means I have been able to take very good pictures indoors without flash, -just what I needed. Another great feature is the incredibly long battery life, up to 500 pics before recharging. But, like all digital cameras, they all seem to have good features and some niggles, the F10 and the Casio EX-2750 are no ecceptions. None of them can beat my compact point-and-shoot Leica CM film camera.
Incidently, my son-in-law, who is a professional photographer bought my daugher a new Casio EX-2750 for their trip to Honduras. When they get back I sure she will have some comments about it.
