Issue With Computer Booting Up

71.222.101.217

Recently did some work on my desktop. Installed a KBIT AW7 motherbord with an AMD 2.2 G CPU. Put in a new 80G Western Digital hard drive. Had issues with XP install. My copy of XP is first generation, and wouldnt let me get to the point where I could format the hard drive, and install the operating system. I ended up using an unliscened version of XP with service pack 2. Everything appeared to work fine.

I was waiting for a new computer monitor to show, so I didnt use the machine. The CTX monitor finally arrived. Hooked it up, and booted the sytem up. It boots up fine, but after about 3 minutes it crashes to a black screen, and the computer makes a oscillating 'Doo doo Doo doo" alarm sound. reminds me of the old police car siren, or maybe amubulance.

Anybody got an idea of what problem I am facing?

Regards
Mister Pig
