Hi - I want to purchase a 17" LCD monitor for a computer (my first) that's been handed down to me. I did a little research, and there are several in the $200 range. One, supposedly informational, site told me to look for smaller dot pitch; at least 400:1 contrast ratio; both digital and analog inputs; AND 1024 X 768 native resolution. They said anything with native resolution higher than that will result in very small images on a 17" monitor. So...I started looking for monitors, and all that I've seen have 1024 X 1280 resolution. What should I do? I really don't want to move up to a 19", as space is limited. Thanks very much!!
p.s. Are there other things that I should be looking for? This is quite confusing for me.
