Ahh, the "media player needs a new codec" scam. You're infected. It's the latest Java hack. My son got it on his gaming machine. We booted in Safe Mode and deleted the Java folder and the folder that was installed by the virus (can't remember it's name, but you're anti virus software has probably been telling you what folder the .exe files that keep launching are in - that's the one)Then download a clean copy of Java.
