This is almost the exact copy of the car my Dad drove and on which I learned to navigate San Francisco streets, including the dreaded uphill drive up from Fisherman's Wharf on the cable car tracks, in the rain, after the cable tracks were oiled. I don't remember the stereo in it, but we listened to many symphonies and other music through the 2 classical FM stereo stations then. He fitted it with Gabriel Silver E shocks, helper springs, stiffer parts, big tires, etc.

Prior to that, he had a 1951 1/2 Chrysler Imperial 331 hemi, which was hopped up.

We had an MGA when I was a kid, my Dad use to race. One of our other cars was a convertible; I was to young to remember my first time in a sports car. We used to hide under the tonneau cover. Sports Cars were normal. But I do remember when the Country Squire wagon was in the shop, and my mom had to take ten (10) of us, on both sides, under and up across the back of our MGA to a cub scouts meeting.
