The Copain sale has triggered a lot of noise among the smaller producers-
In addition - as with what happened at Siduri (2015) the Winemaker can NO LONGER have "custom" clients - that is the winemaker can no longer work for multiple wineries-
They may keep a personal (their own name) project on the side- but no to having a winemaker work for multiple wineries....

Ironically while I do decry many of these sales- the Cow Girl Creamery sale will probably help the company survive for another 25+ years- which would not have been the case w/o the sale.....
