So here's another question. Do you feel ripped off if you buy an expensive bottle and its not heavy? The Turley is expensive to ship because they use very heavy bottles.
Many wineries feel that the need to justify the higher price tag with a heavier (think more prestigious) bottle.
I think its silly. Its also horribly wasteful. That bottle takes more natural resources to make and the cost to ship both empty (from China or France or Mexico or possibly CA) or full is ridiculous in terms of dollars and damage to the planet.
I have resisted so far. I always think that the people who care about the prestige of a bottle aren't the people I want s customers anyway.

Am I right or wrong?
